Miniature Feltwool迷你.羊毛氈- Midnight Autumn

喜愛秋季.  秋天的顏色都是橙、啡、黃等....給人一種很温馨温暖的感覺.  我也最愛earth colours, 所以看到就份外高興.  這處的秋季也很乾爽舒服.  只是有點淒涼的感覺....

最懷念是以前Thanksgiving 有火雞吃的日子, 一家人或朋友聚在一起, 感覺暖笠笠的, 很warm!

今年結合迷你粘土+羊毛氈, 制作出上年已構思好的迷你情境.

Autumn is my favorite season here.  It's dry and cool, and I love seeing all those earthy colours...orange, yellow, brown...gives me a warm cozy feeling.

I always think back to the old days when we had home-baked turkey...friends and family gathered together and having Thanksgiving dinner...how warm it was!

This year I combined miniature clay work and feltwool.  It's a setting that I wanted to do last year.

送給大家超迷你的月餅....這是示範作品所以做得不是太好, 洋桃也沒光澤...  不要緊!  只是想照一照, 講一句祝福話!

Felt Wool Mobile Bag 羊毛氈手機套

有新的手機, 自然需要新的手機套.  之前做的用不着了...

今次選的是給人很平靜感覺的藍綠色....是Hamanaka Natural Cotton Blend 的其中一種色.  看上去很舒服, 我很喜歡.

方法是先針氈2塊羊毛, 然後包起型版再用濕氈方法搓.  這方法可以加速完成的速度.  我低估了縮氈的程度, 做得太緊了, 剛放得入但有點勉強.  唯有硬着頭皮再做!

做起了發覺不捨得用呢!

I've got a new mobile, so I need to make another wool case for it. 

This time I chose a calming turquoise.  This is one of the Japanese brand, Hamanaka's wool.  It's really soothing to look at, I like the colour!

First I needle-felted two pieces of wool, then used the wet method to shrink the case to the right size.  However, I underestimated the shrinkage and it turned out too tight.  It barely fits.  So I had to do it all over again...We learn by past mistakes...that's how we learn.  -_-

我們的客廁一直未有厠紙架.  拖了很久, 是時候給厠紙們一個好歸宿.

另一個木器厠紙架上場了!  上次畫了我喜愛的小白菊, 今次還是想素一點.  來個白玫瑰吧!

羊毛氈-小刺猬 Feltwool-Little Hedgehog

 

終於現身了!  親子小刺猬, 即媽媽&BB刺猬.

有做開羊毛氈的朋友, 或許會認得這是日本材料包來的.  出了很久了 (亦買了很久, 放了很久).

可能我內芯拮得太實, 最終不夠羊毛而需買多些回來補.  比原來用多了$!

小刺猬的刺是一針一線縫出來的.  針紙超強(說反話)的我找媽媽求救.  媽媽示範後我便自己來.  哦!  原來如此穿.  又挺好玩的!  其實大可照平常方法拮出來, 但不試過就不會懂怎麼穿了.

They're finally here!  Mommy and Baby Hedgehog!

This is from a Japanese feltwool kit.  I bought it a long time ago.

Maybe because I poked too much and too hard, I ended having to buy some more wool to finish the baby Hedgehog.  

I used the thread and needle for the hedgehogs' quills.  Sewing has always been my specialty (I'm lying)!  I needed mom's help.  After mom's demo, I tried myself.  I see!  That's how you do it.  It's quite fun actually!  I could have used the wool felting technique to do the quills but then I would never learn how to do the sewing.

豬豬+毛毛球仙人掌 Piggie and Furry Cactus

一向都唔係好識種仙人掌.  最終嘅下場都係.........

見倒呢隻咁可愛嘅豬豬同一樣可愛嘅毛毛球仙人掌, 都係忍唔住買返嚟擺.  睇吓又擺得幾耐.  :P

I've never been good at taking care of cactuses.  They always end up disappearing out of my house.

That day I bumped into this adorable piggie and cactus combination.  Couldn't resist bringing it home.  So see how long it lasts for.  :P

第一次擺檔~塔石藝墟 Art Fair at Tap Seac

話說上年發現了「塔石藝墟」.  心想何時到我做擺檔而不是去觀望的?  今年「的起心肝」去報名.  終於一嘗「店主」的滋味!  我開舖(檔)了!  第一次有自己的招牌, 很興奮!

只得短短兩個多星期預備, 懶惰的我開始時又拖時間, 擺檔之前最後幾天趕得不得了, 難為了DH 幫我做這做那, sorry!

這次經驗蠻得意的, 當然有待放進.  謝謝家人的支持.  媽媽也得媽媽節特地跟我擺檔!  :P

Last year I have discovered the Art Fair at Tap Seac.  I wondered when I would be the one to look after the booth instead of being the customer.  This year I decided to go for it.  I finally have my own shop...I mean own booth!  It was really exciting to see my own banner being held up.

Having only 2 weeks or so preparing for the event, I was really stressed out a few days before the final day.  I already didn't have much time yet I was lazy to start preparing....  I pity DH for running around to do things for me.

It was quite an interesting experience.  Of course there is much to improve.  Thanks to my family for their support.  Mom had to look after the booth with me on Mother's Day!

怎也應有些製成品.  製作過程非常混亂.  The process of producing products was quite messy.

砂糖兔家中成員 My le sucre Family Members

最近沒時間寫blog.  短短哋吧!

不經不覺我家已有五個le sucre 成員.  大家來個大合照.

左面是第一隻我擁有的le sucre 兔兔, 亦是唯一購自台北的.  之後就忍不住手了.  中間帶帽的是DH 送的.  而右面最傻呼呼的是水獺.

全都很可愛很傻啊!

I have five Japan le sucre's family members now.  Let's take a picture together. 

The left one is my first le sucre rabbit, and also the only bought from Taiwan.  The middle one wearing a hood was a gift from DH.  The one on the left obviously is not a rabbit.  It's a sea otter, they say.
